Art That Lives in Space
Catchable Dreams began during the quiet uncertainty of the COVID pandemic. What started as a creative outlet at home—something to work on between caring for three young children—quickly became a grounding practice rooted in rhythm, repetition, and intention.
I’m a pediatric nurse and fiber artist whose work is rooted in care, compassion, and connection. My background in pediatric nursing deeply shapes how I create—each fiber piece is made slowly and intentionally, honoring patience, resilience, and the quiet power of human touch.
I have a big heart for children, especially those in India and Zimbabwe. Though I’ve never been to Zimbabwe, my connection comes from learning, listening, and holding space for stories beyond my own. I feel deeply called—by God—to care for children and to use both my hands and my heart in service of something greater than myself. That calling guides my work, my values, and the way I move through the world.
Through fiber art, I seek to create tactile pieces that feel grounding and human—works that carry warmth, invite reflection, and offer a sense of hope. Each piece is an extension of faith, care, and purpose, quietly woven with intention and a desire to give back
